Project:

We all live busy lives. Shouldn’t our cable and internet meet those demands? Here’s how we elevated Chicago’s very own internet through a creative refresh and raised demographic awareness through outdoor advertising, direct mail, digital/web/social media, and corporate capabilities collateral.

Goal:

Use statistical insights and creative strategy to plot and place advertisements in predetermined demographic areas. Create visually impactful, quick and engaging out-of- home pieces to educate and inspire busy users in high traffic areas. Utilize Chicago’s public transit stations and heavily congested streets to place on-site bench displays. Coordinate with mail distribution services and systems technicians to place leave-behind direct mail pieces to new and continued RCN customers.

Solution:

Increased brand awareness and disrupted a cable and internet market that is largely dominated by rival Comcast. Educated neighborhoods with a faster solution to slow internet and screen streams - while offering competitive terms and rates. Highlighting their commitment to local communities and their reliable services, RCN was able to elevate its market presence and see an increase in users who either upgraded existing services or switched from competitors altogether.
